The UNIV Seminar Asia Pacific (USAP) provides a platform for female senior high school and university students from countries in the Asia-Pacific region to share knowledge, insights and experiences on a given theme.
To provide an opportunity for students from different countries in Asia (mainly Philippines and Indonesia) to connect and collaborate in exploring this year's theme “Citizens of Our World”.
To help the participants deepen their understanding of this year’s theme through focus group discussions, lectures, and get-togethers.
To simulate UNIV 2025 activities in Rome by having the USAP 2025 during the Holy Week, providing the academic, cultural, spiritual, and socio-civic experience to the participants.
The UNIV Seminar Asia Pacific (USAP) is a project of the Kalinangan Youth Foundation, Inc. (KALFI). A gathering of female senior high and university students in the Asia-Pacific region, USAP runs parallel to the UNIV Rome Easter Seminar organized by the ICU.
USAP provides a venue for cultural encounters, educational dialogue and workshops which delve on present-day issues that concern society. The activities are interdisciplinary in character and aim to underline the university as a setting for acquiring global knowledge where research and love for learning are fostered.
USAP fosters intellectual and cultural development among students, helping them to become more aware of their role as catalysts for social change.
